Five things worth checking before any home movement
Reva screens for these on every session, before it builds anything. You should know them too, because the most important skill in home recovery is knowing when not to.

Reva is built to guide gentle movement, and part of guiding movement well is refusing to when something is off. Before any session, Reva runs a quick screen for red-flag symptoms, and if it sees one it stops and points you to a professional instead of building a workout around it. Here is what it looks for, and what you should treat the same way.
The five to never move through
- 1
- Chest pain, pressure, or shortness of breath
- 2
- Numbness, tingling, or a limb giving way
- 3
- New calf swelling, warmth, or redness
- 4
- Sharp, sudden, or worsening pain
- 5
- Dizziness, fainting, or a recent fall
Each of these is on the list for a reason that has nothing to do with your recovery plan and everything to do with catching something more serious. Chest pain and breathlessness can be your heart or lungs. Numbness or a joint giving way can be a nerve. Calf swelling with warmth can be a clot, which moving can make worse. Sharp or worsening pain is a signal, not a hurdle. Dizziness and falls speak for themselves.
If you are ever unsure whether something is a red flag, treat it like one. The cost of an unnecessary phone call is small. The cost of moving through the real thing is not.

Where the app stops and a person starts
Reva will never diagnose you, and it will never tell you what is causing a symptom. What it will do is notice the words that describe one, stop, and say clearly: this belongs with your doctor, surgeon, physical therapist, or urgent care, now. If it is an emergency, call your local emergency number.
That refusal is not the app failing. It is the app working. A recovery guide you can trust is one that knows its own edge, and Reva is built to hold that edge every single time, in code, before any model is even asked.
